The Kirchers’ Annual 4th-ish of July Party

The Kirchers’ annual 4th-ish of July party, rescheduled to Labor Day weekend. Rosary at 5:00 p.m., dinner at 6:00 p.m. Bring a dish to pass and lawn chairs, and please RSVP with your headcount.

Attention TLM Catholics! After a one-year hiatus, the Kirchers’ Annual 4th-ish of July Party returns — rescheduled to Labor Day weekend. Come out to Mark and Debra Kircher’s 3.44-acre “ranch” any time after 2:00 p.m.

A Rosary will begin at 5:00 p.m. for the repose of Valerie’s soul, and for all others in our community who have died these past couple of years.

The Kirchers will provide Mark’s famous chicken, a large pot of gumbo, Von Ruden wieners, and Palm homebrew, with lemonade and water for the children. Please bring a dish to pass, any adult beverages you would like, and lawn furniture to sit on. Dinner is served at 6:00 p.m., followed by a rousing game of volleyball — the Kirchers against all comers. If you arrive later than 6:00, come anyway.

Please bring your well wishes for the celebration of Mark and Debra’s marriage this past February. No gifts or cards, please — just your presence.

Hospitality After Mass

After the 9:00 a.m. Mass · 2nd & 4th Sundays

Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe — in the crypt, downstairs

Coffee and fellowship in the Shrine crypt (downstairs) after the 9:00 a.m. Mass — all are welcome.

Hospitality takes place downstairs in the Shrine crypt on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. Anyone who would like to help with food, set-up, or clean-up is warmly invited to contact us.

Diocese of La Crosse Hispanic Day of Pilgrimage

Saturday, September 19 · 8:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, La Crosse

A diocesan day of pilgrimage to the Shrine — procession up the hill at 9:15, Mass with Confession at 10:00, then lunch at the Pilgrim Center. All the faithful are welcome.

A day of formation on Our Lady’s role in Scripture and in the life of the Church — three talks, Mass at 12:15 p.m. offered by Cardinal Burke, a question-and-answer session, lunch, and a Holy Hour.
